Squeakers, Our new Kitty |
| We saw this first kitty at SPCA and really liked it, but we wanted to check around first. Later that day we decided we like him the best and went back to get him, but another girl was just signing the papers to take him home. We were so sad, so we went to Pet Wonderland and fell in love with the kitty that became Squeakers, shown below. |

We only had Squeakers for a week went we had to leave for vacation to Tucson for Kara's wedding. We had a family friend take care of him while we were gone, and we couldn't wait to get home from vacation to see him. Unfortunately when we got him back, he didn't make it through the night. We think his mother may have abandoned him too early not allowing his tiny system to develop enough. He was always sick and didn't seem to eat enough. Maybe that's why he was CONSTANTLY meowing. That's why we called him Squeakers, because he was so vocal. He liked to cozy up to the back of my neck and massage my head with his paws. He also liked to be held and fussed over. We were very sad to see him go, but he was our first kitty, and we were so happy so provide him with a home and some love and comfort during the last few weeks of his life. We will not forget out first kitty, Squeakers. |
