Tips for viewing my website

• Hello everyone and welcome to my site. We've gone through some major transformations on the site in the last year since I've been building it. Sometimes I decide to make changes and I forget to update a few links here and there, so I apologize if you get to a dead end. Sometimes too, I decide to try something new, so you may see a feature or text that is not linked to anything yet. I'll fix it soon enough. Here are some tips for navigating my site:

Previous / Next	I've worked hard at the logic for the Previous    Next links at the bottom of the pages. I tried to set it up so it takes you to the next page in that category or album. After you've seen all the pages in that category, I take you back to either that main page, or a higher level so you can navigate to what you'd like to see next. Again, sorry if I have any going to the wrong page. You may also notice I've just added Previous  Next links to the top of most pages to make it easier to move quickly through albums.
Navigation Bars	I've added several navigation bars to try to make it as easy as possible to find what you're looking for. There's a main one at the top that never changes, and when you're in the Photo Albums section, the one on the left stays there with all the Photo Album links. Additionally, in the light blue section at the top, the small gray text will always tell you where you are.
Missing Page or Page Not Found	If you click a link and are taken to a missing page, try going back and refreshing the last page you were on. Since I make changes often, you may be surfing the site while I'm making updates. So that missing page may actually appear soon if you try again later. I also suggest refreshing the home page whenever you visit and sometimes even Photo Album main category pages.
Download This Photo Album	The Download this Photo Album link is displayed at the top of every Photo Album page. It will download a zip file with all the pictures from that page to your computer. Then you can print them, share them, view them in a slideshow on your own computer, or even save them to a CD or DVD for your own storage or to watch on your DVD player.
Open to Suggestions	Always keep in mind I like to hear your suggestions and/or comments about: What you'd like to see on the site Something you think can be different or would be better if it were different What you like about the site...
Slideshow	Some of my favorite albums have been converted to slideshows as well as thumbnails. I'm still decidingon which software I llike best for displaying them.
Family Tree	The Family Tree section is really going to be exciting once I start working on it. I'll be sending out Questionnaires in the future so you can share memories of your family and our Metzger Family.
	I love working on, developing and maintaining the website for the family and for my own enjoyment and learning. However, it isn't free. I do pay for the cost of owning our own domain name (www.metzgerwebsite.com) and for the website hosting, so we have a place on the internet to put our photos and family information. Right now I pay for 1 year at a time on the domain name and monthly for the hosting. If anyone can help out with a donation, it would really help to extend the term and secure our site so we don't have to worry about the renewals every month or ever losing our domain rights.
